Here at Arcady Holistic Clinic we encourage many repeated fasts of less than one month as opposed to one long fast.
Clients are enabled through knowledge to continue the habit of independently fasting for improved health.
We do not normally recommend fasting, in and of itself, for weight-loss as rebound weight-gain is a virtual certainty -- unless positive lifestyle changes, especially eating habits, are solidly entrenched within the fasted individual. If you are willing to make a change in eating habits and lifestyle then fasting for weight loss could be a viable option for you.
