Common Name: Goldenseal
Tincture: 1:5 @ 60%.
Constituents: alkaloids (incl berberine 3.5-4%, hydrastine 2-4%, canadine);
volatile oil; resin.
Comment: tonic and astringent to all mucous membranes; For atonic conditions of the digestive system, all catarrhal states, and menorrhagia and post-partum haemorrhage.
