Constituents:   

Acacatechin2 - 10%.
Catechu red
Catechutannic acid20 - 35%.
FlavonoidQuercetin (similar action to Silymarin).
Mucilage and gumEffective emulsifying agent for oil-water suspensions. Non-toxic. May be used intravenously to restore plasma colloid osmotic pressure in nephrotic or posthaemorrhagic shock.
TanninCondensed. Phlobathenes give characteristic red colour.
