Simmer for 30 minutes in water (4 L) the following: Marshmallow herb or root (112 gm), Wormwood (112 gm), and Southernwood (112 gm). Wring a flannel out of it and apply over the kidneys as hot as can be born. Cover with a thick piece of blanket. Change the hot cloth as soon as it begins to cool.
